More and More International Students Study in China (I)
According to the American International Education Association recently released :
The International Student Mobility Research Report in 2012
China, surpassed France, become the world's third largest study destination, after the United States and the United Kingdom.
The market share is 8% in the rapid growth of international student market.
It increased by approximately 12% ,compared to last year.
The United States has become the second largest source of overseas students for China,
accounting for about 8% of the total international students in mainland of China.
According to data released by the Chinese Ministry of Education,
In 2013, 0.35 million foreign students was studying in 746 national colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and other educational
and teaching institutions.
The population of foreign students studying in China increase of 15.83% year-on-year.
The total number of international students, educational institutions for overseas students in China, and international students who get Chinese
government scholarships set a fresh record.

19 year-old from California.
He is a junior student major in Chines at Georgetown University in Washington.
He loves Chinese, loves Chinese culture, and also has a Chinese mother who lives in Beijing.
When he saw the newspaper reporter, he couldn't wait to said,
"I got the scholarship, study in China soon,I can see long unseen 'mother' in China.
In the summer of 2010, Gao Wei enrolled in New Hampshire St. Paul's secondary school grade 11 in the United States.
Under the assistance of a non-governmental overseas academic year program in the United States,
Gao Wei with other 47 peers over the Pacific Ocean to the second middle school of Beijing Normal University study for 9 months.
During this time, he was arranged living in an ordinary family in Beijing.
He establish a deep feelings with his "Chinese mother" .
"In her family, I have experienced the eating habits of the Chinese , and now I miss the delicious dumplings made by her." Gao Wei said.
Last October, he attended the Jiangsu cup speech contest which held in Washington, and won the second prize.
So he won the scholarship of studying in china.
In recent years, the number of American students has increased year by year.
such as Gao Wei, who has awarded the scholarship by China and the United States government or non-governmental organizations,
even at their own expense, study in China for a short term or long term.

Barack Hussein Obama proposed the plan of studying in China "million strong" when he visit to China in 2009
The program was started in the following year, the goal is to send 0.1 milliom American students to study in China.
